Mountain Bike over Himalaya:

A fully guided and supported mountain Bike tour from Kathmandu to Tibet crossing the giant Himalaya will be a life time memory for all the bikers or for the people who love to do adventure cycling. To experience the nature, culture, monasteries, nomadic people of Tibet and the vastness of Himalaya from very close will be another experience. Day 01: Arrival in Nepal, transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu. Info-cocktail about programm in the evening.
Day 02/03: Sightseeing in Kathmandu
Day 04: Fly Kathmandu to Lhasa. Transfer to hotel and build up bikes and ride to Potala Palace.
Day 05: Easy bike ride around Lhasa, visit Norbhulingka, Jokhang and Sera Monastery. Banakshol Hotel
Day 06: Visit Drepung Monastery and Potala Palace. Rest of the day free to explore Lhasa. Banakshol Hotel.
Day 07: Drive to top of Kamba La, cycle down to and around Yamdrok Tso. Nanghchi Guesthouse.
Day 08: Cycle or drive up Karo La, ride down, lunch in Gyantse, look around fort, drive to Shigatse Hotel.
Day 09: Visit Tashilunpo Monastery, then ride and drive to Lhatse. Overnight in a guesthouse.
Day 10: Cross the highest pass Jia Tusco 5,220 mtr. Ride or drive as much as you want. Overnight Xegar in a guesthouse.
Day 11: Climb Pang La for panoramic view of Everest, Cho Yu and expense of Tibet. Overnight in Rongbuk valley.
Day 12: Cycle up Rongbuk valley to Monastery and Everest base camp. Overnight in Ting Guesthouse.
Day 13: Visit Base camp and return to base of Pang La guest house or visit hot spring in Tingri.
Day 14: Cycle over Pang La and along valley to Tingri. Overnight in guesthouse here or Gusto furthers down road
Day 15: Start descending the biggest down hill in the world from Tibetan Plateau down. Overnight at Nyalam Guest House
Day 16: Keep descending down hill into Nepal. See trees appearing and rivers grow. Overnight at Barabise.
Day 17: Ride last section from valley rim into Kathmandu via Nala and back roads of Nepal
